Untrust us: the new Ardor-based game for modeling fake news
On June 8th, 2021, the new “Untrust Us” project was presented by Alesha Serada, Ph.D. student and researcher at the University of Vaasa, Finland, and Alexander Pfeiffer, Senior Researcher at the Center for applied game studies at Donau-Univeristät Krems, Austria. The prototype project is an alternative reality roleplaying game (ARG) based on Ardor blockchain and Twitter platforms. Cycle4Value - watch the new video
In this video, Thomas Wernbacher and Alexander Pfeiffer, Senior Researchers at Donau-Univeristät Krems, and Elisabeth Felberbauer, Managing Director of Bike Citizens, present “Cycle4Value”. The project has a transparent monetized reward system, based on Ardor-Ignis blockchain technology, for promoting regular cycling thus considering the economic, ecological, and health benefits/effects. Machine learning algorithms check the validity of data collected on the Bike Citizens app. Data is then translated into Cycle tokens, stored in a digital wallet based on Ardor blockchain, that can be redeemed in a marketplace or donated to charity projects. Ardor is the optimal solution for Cycle4Value, explains Pfeiffer, because anyone who wants to can operate a full node and have full control over the data, so the project is well-positioned in terms of data protection and data ownership. On the other hand, the energy consumption of the blockchain is minimal, thanks to the PoS algorithm of Ardor technology.
